Call Recording Summaries: Keep Important Calls on Record

When an important call ends, are you still relying on memory and thinking, "I'm sure that's what they said"? Refund promises, contract terms, and schedule changes that only happened out loud are hard to confirm later, especially if the other person remembers it differently.
A call recording summary turns a recorded call into a saved transcript, then pulls out only the parts that matter. daglo transcribes and stores your call recordings and highlights key points like promises, prices, and dates in a summary. Recordings move into daglo on their own, so there's no file to find and upload.
What is a call recording summary? A record instead of a memory

With your calls saved as text, you can reread exactly who said what, even weeks later. And for long calls, the summary shows you what you need to act on in seconds.
| Relying on memory | Keeping a record with daglo | |
|---|---|---|
| Checking what was said | Replay the recording from the start | Read the transcript and summary |
| Finding what matters | Dig through notes and memory | See promises, prices, and dates in the summary |
| When stories change | Hard to push back on "I never said that" | Reread the conversation as it happened |
| Keeping records | Scattered in your recordings folder | Organized by call in the folder you choose |
For sales and customer support: no more asking twice what you agreed on

The requirements, quotes, and delivery dates customers mention on the phone are some of your most important sales records. With your calls saved in daglo, a quick read of the summary is enough to pick up where you left off.
- How to use it: turn on Transcribe Selected Contacts Only and add your customers' and partners' numbers, so only those calls are saved.
- Ask Board Chat: "List only the terms the customer asked for and the dates we promised."
When accounts change hands, the call history makes handoffs faster. And when a customer says "I told you last time," you can check and respond right away.
Worried about refund, claim, or contract calls? Keep what you were told on record

The refund terms a phone carrier or insurer explains, the repair date you set with your landlord, the compensation an online store promises: most of these everyday calls leave nothing in writing. Having a record makes it much easier to stand up for what you were promised if the story changes later.
- How to use it: you never know when an important call will come in, so turn on Transcribe All Calls. Every recorded call is saved as text.
- Ask Board Chat: "Summarize only the refund terms, the deadline, and the agent's name from this call."
It's reassuring for family matters too, like instructions from your parents' doctor or a call from your child's school, because you can look up exactly what was said.
For freelancers and solo business owners: turn phone requests into a clear scope of work

"Could you take care of this too?" Requests added over the phone often turn into disagreements about cost and deadlines. A record of the call shows clearly what was asked for and when.
- How to use it: add your clients' numbers to Transcribe Selected Contacts Only, and set a project folder as the save location.
- Ask Board Chat: "List only the new tasks requested in this call and anything said about cost or deadlines."
Use that summary to send a quick "Here's a recap of what we discussed on the phone" email, and you and your client will be working from the same scope.
How to set up call recording summaries
You only need to set it up once. After that, just record your calls, and transcripts and summaries pile up neatly in daglo.
- In the daglo app, go to More → App Settings → Features → Call Recording Transcription.
- Turn on Transcribe All Calls or Transcribe Selected Contacts Only, and allow the required permissions.
- Choose the space and folder where your records will be saved. If you chose Selected Contacts Only, add the contacts you want to keep records of.
- Turn on call recording in your phone app. When a call ends, a transcript and summary appear in the folder you chose.
Calls that mix Korean and English are transcribed as they are, with each person's lines shown separately. Set it up today, and your next important call will leave a record, not just a memory.
Note: call recording transcription is currently available on Android only. It supports calls recorded with the Samsung Phone, A. (T Phone), and LG U+ ixiO apps.
