Client Call Notes for Insurance Agents, Done in Minutes

Still on the phone with clients all day, then trying to remember every conversation at night so you can write up your call notes? After twenty calls, it gets hard to recall who was interested in which policy, and follow-up promises start slipping through the cracks.
Good client management for insurance agents comes down to remembering exactly what each client said and calling back when you promised. daglo transcribes and saves your client calls, then highlights key points like product interest, promises, and follow-up dates in a summary. By the time a call ends, most of what belongs in your notes is already organized.
Why do client call notes take so long?

Call notes pile up because you have to rewrite each conversation from memory. Taking notes during the call pulls your attention away from the client, and skipping them means twice the effort reconstructing everything in the evening.
| Memory and handwritten notes | Call summaries with daglo | |
|---|---|---|
| During the call | Miss what the client says while writing | Focus fully on the conversation |
| Writing call notes | Reconstruct every call each evening | Copy what you need from the summary |
| Checking client details | Dig through notebooks and messages | Reread the transcript and summary for each call |
| Follow-ups | Easy to forget a promised date | See promises right in the summary |
How call summaries change client management

When calls are saved as text, you can reread exactly what a client told you. Details that matter for the next meeting, such as family situation, current policies, and concerns, stop getting lost.
- The client's own words: transcripts show each person's lines separately, so you can tell what the client said from what you explained.
- Key points first: even for a long call, the summary shows product interest and promises at a glance.
- Double-check your explanations: reread how you described coverage or paperwork, and fill in anything you missed on the next call.
That also makes it easier to pick up a conversation weeks later. Instead of opening a call with "Remind me where we left off," you can start with the exact concern the client raised last time, which goes a long way toward building trust.
Keep only client calls with Selected Contacts Only

If work calls and personal calls share one phone, use Transcribe Selected Contacts Only. Records are kept only for calls with the client numbers you add, so your folder holds nothing but client conversations.
- Add client numbers: register the clients you're currently advising and the ones you call often.
- Pick a client folder: set a work folder such as "Client calls" as the save location so every record lands in one place.
- Add new clients as you go: whenever you take on someone new, just add their number.
Use Board Chat to organize interests and follow-up dates by client

For anything beyond the summary, ask Board Chat. Because it answers from the transcript of your call, you can check every answer against the original right away.
- "List only the products this client was interested in and the concerns they mentioned."
- "What follow-up date did we agree on, and which documents did I promise to send?"
- "Organize this call into my call note format: client situation, product interest, what I explained, next steps."
All that's left is pasting the answer into your call notes or client management system, which cuts down the time you spend writing notes after work. Over a busy month, those saved evenings add up to more time for the conversations that actually grow your book of business.
How to set up client call records
You only need to set it up once. After that, just record your client calls, and transcripts and summaries collect in the folder you chose.
- In the daglo app, go to More → App Settings → Features → Call Recording Transcription.
- Turn on Transcribe Selected Contacts Only, allow the required permissions, and add your client numbers.
- Choose the space and folder where your records will be saved.
- Turn on call recording in your phone app. When a call ends, a transcript and summary are created.
Calls that mix Korean and English are transcribed as they are. For more ways to use call summaries, read Call Recording Summaries: Keep Important Calls on Record. Please let clients know in advance when you record a consultation.
Note: call recording transcription is currently available on Android only. It supports calls recorded with the Samsung Phone, A. (T Phone), and LG U+ ixiO apps.
